Summer Programs to the Rescue! No matter what your budget here are 25 of our favorites

summer programs for the

children in your life.

Positive Youth Development is a policy perspective that emphasizes providing services and opportunities to support all young people in developing a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and empowerment. While individual programs can provide youth development activities, the youth development approach works best when entire communities including young people are involved in creating a continuum of services and opportunities that youth need to grow into happy and healthy adults. When I was a young girl, I was always in some summer program, class, summer league or working a summer job. I believe that those summers as a young girl really give me the drive and know how to want to do better for myself all year row. I’m a firm believer that when you are doing what you love there is no need to take a vacation or time off to get away because you enjoy every day to the fullest when you are whole and living out your dream. One of the amazing things about these summer activities is it gives the small people in your life the opportunity to take the time to find themselves and open up the possibilities to create a different world outside of their everyday institutionalized 7 am to 3 pm mundane monotony. With that said, school is about to be out. Don’t have your children, nieces, and nephews sitting around the house this summer. Look into this amazing summer programs and see which one might me the best fit for your little rug rat/ teen dream. Summer Youth Programs. ( Note: The list is not in any participatory order)
