But it's true, there has never been an industry that is so open for a fresh new makeover than politics. Being a politician does not have the best stigma attached to it but as the people begin to unite and grow tired of the elected officials we are now seeing everyday citizens becoming more involved in pursuing positions where they can affect change. Change is required in politics, too much divisiveness and lack of focus on our real social and economic issues. Ted, a social worker is now willing to run for city council, Christine who works for transportation services feels compelled to run for senator of Virginia. Now, that was an example of everyday citizens like me and you that have had enough but do understand if there is a change that is needed, we have to be the champions to usher it. How do you get into politics and what are the requirements? It not as complex as you may think. There are different procedures for certain city, state, and national political offices but there is free information available online. You may be the next to deliver the change necessary to turn things around, you never know. So stop running away from politics, I don't care thinking.
