For those of you that are not familiar with Dr. Umar Johnson. He is a Certified School Psychologist who practices privately throughout Pennsylvania and lectures throughout the country placing emphasis upon the areas of education, economics, and politics.
As a school psychologist evaluating children from the ages of 3 to 21. Dr. Johnson has seen time and time again how children of color in the public school system have been put in special education with a misdiagnosed with ADHD and given drugs like Ritalin.
Dr. Johnson believes that the reason we can’t fix the schools is because they are not only designed to fail, but also deliberately and systematically destabilize Black Children intentionally. That is why he is in the process of fundraiser to open The Frederick Douglass and Marcus Garvey RBG International Leadership Academy. According to Dr. Johnson the academy will educate our children on the science, mathematics, military arms, and tech.
It will be unapologetically Black and designed to guide the children toward the mindset of Revolutionary Pan-Africanism and entrepreneurialship. He has a numerous lectures, debuts, and women’s brunches coming up this month.
