Versace-Versace-Versace Robert Milar

Maybe it’s the newness of it for him, but meeting Robert Milar was like meeting a new friend at the airport. Eager and friendly, Robert gave a warm smile with hushed excitement in his voice. Although accompanied by his publicist and her assistant it was easy to forget anyone, but Robert was there. He has a way of subtly capturing your attention. It’s no wonder this male actor from Alicante, Spain would be able to break through into the film world in only three years’ time in the States. Moving to Los Angeles in 2015 after his father passed away, Robert arrived in California with high hopes and big dreams. Even before arriving in Tinseltown, Robert had a list of work under his belt. He has worked in commercials, web series (Hollyweird being his favorite project thus far), and theatre. His performance as a vampire with an accent in “Out From The Shadows” at the Next Stage Theater in Hollywood captured the attention of a talent agent, and the rest is history. Since then, Robert has been involved in several projects. He played a minor role in American Crime Story – The Assassination of Gianni Versace played the lead in City of Angels and has a new film coming out in late March called Bird in a Cage where he plays a person with schizophrenia in a twisted love triangle. Though many of his roles have required him to play dark roles, meeting Robert changes that image. He is zealous in his acting and humble. He isn’t acting simply to be famous but because he loves the craft. It’s what made him want to act at age seven much to the chagrin of his mother. However, Robert was able to justify his passion to his mother just a year back. His mother sat front row at one of his plays and when she saw his performance she wept at her son’s craft. His desire to tell stories and move people is what motivates his work, and he’s just getting started. When asked about his ambitions for the future he spoke of his love for animals. He wants to create more awareness for conservation as well as the intelligence of animals. With his pet parrot, Willow, as an example Robert hopes his ability for storytelling and his love for animals will let him create compelling stories that won’t only entertain but also educate his audience. With a slew of films coming out in 2018 and a few projects in development Robert Milar is sure to be an upcoming actor for the next few years. Keep an eye out for this ambitious Spaniard.
