TV and film have captured our hearts and our minds. It’s all made possible by the actors who bring the stories to life. But how does Dwayne " ͞The Rock͟" Johnson stay buff and shredded for his role in Hercules? How does Lady Gaga rock a slim figure to perform on tour? The answer is part exercise, but more importantly, these superstars must be aware of their diet. What you put into your body in private is what we see on you in public. In a hustle and bustle world, especially in film and entertainment, who has the time to figure out such things?
Chef Moe does! Chef Moe has been a celebrity chef to such big names as Lady Gaga and President Barack Obama. So if we’re talking about busy lifestyles; he knows the grind well. Chef Moe also understands what the body needs to function efficiently and healthily. When speaking to him about how to create a healthy meal, he referred us to a bigger picture. He gave us the idea of creating a healthy lifestyle. And you know what? It’s all in the preparation and it’s easier than you think.
Do It Today!
Inspiration struck when Chef Moe broke down the mysteries of how to make my diet work. And it’s simple. You do a little every day. This is especially true when you go shopping, Moe says. He told me to have a healthy body, you need to focus on some of the basics.
He empowered me with some simple ideas. Like, buy a lot of greens. If you eat protein, you would benefit from buying chicken breast which is a lot leaner compared to red meat. Finally, he said one of the keys to a strong healthy body is getting a lot of seeds and grains incorporated into your diet. For example, using flax and chia seeds are healthy choices in Chef Moe’s daily regimen. If you needed to, a cool idea would be to mix those seeds into a fruit smoothie or protein shake in the morning to get a kick start for your day. Or instead of getting the regular store brand bread, find the bread with the multigrain or multi-seed added in for you. Keep it simple and success is sure to follow. In addition, by making better choices, you keep your heart and brain healthy as well. Think holistic and happy!
Do It For Your Future Self
If we’ve seen anything from our beloved celebs, is that if the right actions are taken, the success is huge. If Brad Pitt’s body needs to be a certain way for his role, he will hire a personal trainer and a celebrity chef to help him along the way and get the results he needs. Then when the movie hit’s the theaters, Brad is collecting that million-dollar paycheck. You too can challenge yourself to make the most of your life experience. You can work in an office, on a construction site or in a music studio, but don’t make that an excuse not to choose the healthy choice. If you want to stay in ͞Game On͟ mode and keep yourself mentally and physically ready, I suggest you put in a little effort every day to have at least one healthy meal and one healthy snack in your diet. ͞But I have no time in my busy schedule!͟, you might say. How about taking a few minutes on a Sunday night before your work week starts to get some meals prepped for the week? How about buying your healthy options in bulk so that the work is less when you start cooking? How about instead of eating a bag of chips on a break, that you pick up some baby carrots or a granola bar? These are just some ideas to put into your tool box to keep yourself up and about while living the life you want. So step up and stay motivated, stay ready and game on!
