Happy New Year TNE subscribers! This month's episode was so much fun! I partnered with Rashaunda Grant from the Carolina Cookery again to participate in the Lowe's Upskill Project. It is a contest individual can enter by creating a video expressing a project they would like to tackle in their home.Winners are awarded a $2000 Lowe's gift card to use toward their project, an experienced teacher who teaches the necessary skill/technique, and a design consultation. In this month's video, we decided to add curb appeal to spruce up the exterior of a home we are working on. The professionals on the Lowe's staff showed us how to use a combination of flowers, pavers, and planters to bring some excitement to the outside of this home. We chose flowers that would withstand the climate conditions of the area and colors that would complement the existing colors of the exterior of the home.
