Black Panther Movie Review

For the first time, this isn’t so much of a review. As I’m sure by now every single person reading this article will have already seen this movie at least once if not two or three times. So I’d call this more of a love letter. Black Panther as having been one of the most anticipated films in the history of Afro-centric cinema had a lot of expectations to live up to. And it shattered every single one. I have seen every single Marvel movie to date, and this was hands down the best one to date. It literally had everything you could want. Visually between the sheer technological wonderment and the environmental gorgeousness, I didn’t know which to admire more. The wilderness of Africa has displayed on just a grand and epic scale it was breathtaking. The costumes were an absolute marvel to behold. The variety of garments distinguishing each clan was amazing, and the great detail that went into every design was clearly evident. The characters exuded such dignity and pride. The way the Wakandans demonstrated their culture and tradition was a spectacle that kept even the youngest and Rambunctious audience members so silent you could hear a pin drop. The fight sequences were beyond wowing. You could feel every blow. Extremely intricate and varied combat style combined for an exhilarating experience whether it be one of the coolest chase scenes I’ve ever seen(and I’ve seen thousands) to the homage to Casino Royale brawl to the all-out war of the tribes sequence to the one on one showdowns we all anticipate at the edge of our seats. Black Panther has everything. With a story that not only was compelling but spellbinding. It drew you in from before the opening credits and made you stick around until after the final ones rolled. So many examples of flawless Black Star magic. Every character whether wrong or right in a moment stood with backs firmly straight with the dignity of their beliefs. Michael B Jordan was superb in even finding a way to show full sides of Killmonger creating an excellent layered and multifaceted big bad. Chadwick Boseman makes you damn sure want to take that trip back to Africa if he’s gonna be your king. His Black Panther exudes poise and reverence but a relativistic so deserving of regality. And the women...whew they deserve their own article just for them. With rarely showcased undeniable strength and immeasurably beauty they demanded their respect every time they graced the screen from warrior to general to Queen. If by some unforeseeable reason you are reading this article has not seen this 10 out of 10 instant classic stop reading buy your ticket and go see it right now.
